Our class celebrated Dr. Seuss’ birthday on March 5th. We read books written by Dr. Seuss, put together floor puzzles picturing the “Cat in the Hat” and completed packets focusing on reading skills. We would like to thank Ms. Mitchinson for a day full of fun and learning.
Ms. Salzinger/ Ms. Hohe Room 122
Our class followed the 2010 Winter Olympics in Vancouver. We read newspaper articles about the games and athletes. We tracked the medal count and then graphed the data to learn that the United States won the most medals.
Ms. Boskelly Room 207
Our class used information given to us to create a story problem with two questions as well as a graph of our choice. We used critical thinking, reading, writing and art skills to complete the assignment.
