Home of the Rockets!
J.W. Riley Elementary School is located in the near west suburbs of Chicago and serves approximately 500 students in Pre-K through 5th grades. The Transitional Bilingual Education classes for the districts elementary students who are eligible are provided at Riley.

School Hours
Pre-K and Half day morning Kindergarten 9:00-11:30 a.m.
Half day afternoon Kindergarten 1:00-3:30 p.m.
1st-5th grades 9:00-3:30 p.m.
*Students in Kindergarten through 5th grade may enter the building at 8:45 am. Students are allowed to enter the building at 8:45 am to give them time to go to their lockers and get ready for classes to begin at 9:00 am.
*Please do not bring children to school earlier than 8:45 am as there is no one to supervise them. Mr. Ellsworth will supervise students during the winter months and on rainy days beginning at 8:35 am in the multipurpose room.
*Pre-Kindergarten students are escorted by the teacher into the school building at 9:00 am on the North side facing Lemoyne street.
*PM Kindergarten students may be dropped off at the North side near the playground at 12:45 pm and the teachers will pick them up and bring them inside.
